Get Involved
Sunrise Elementary is a Capturing Kids' Hearts and Playworks school and is committed to ensuring all students have a positive strong sense of self-worth, citizenship, social awareness and social skills as well as a sound, challenging, and positive academic experience. To support this mission, we are implementing social emotional learning through Playworks, Capturing Kids' Hearts, and The Zones of Regulation.
Activities outside of the classroom can help facilitate and foster these relationships. We offer a wide variety of ways our students can get involved and connect with positive peers and adults.
There are also opportunities for our families to get involved including joining our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), Building Accountability & Advisory Committee (BAAC), and working in WSD3!
