Principal's Corner

 

Dear Sunrise Elementary Families,

It is an honor and privilege to introduce myself as the new principal of Sunrise Elementary School and to join this extraordinary community.

The 2022-2023 school year will mark my 16th year in education. Since graduating from Western Michigan University, I have served communities as a first grade teacher and instructional coach at a Blue Ribbon school. I received my Masters in Education from Colorado College and my principal licensure from Western Colorado University. I spent one year as the assistant principal at Sunrise Elementary and the last three years as the principal at Pinello Elementary School in Widefield School District. I believe that all students can excel and that the partnership between home and school builds confidence in students to shape their future.

In closing, please know that my door is always open. I welcome the opportunity to collaborate with you throughout the school year. Let us always keep our students as the primary focus of our work. I look forward to celebrating our collective success during the 2022-2023 school year.
